Another solid performance from the club on the second day day of the Indoor Championships in Nenagh.
It was great to see Alan O’Donovan back competing last weekend and running so well. He secured second place in a competitive pack of U 17 boys 800m. We’re delighted to see the club represented in the older boys category and it’s a great motivation for our younger boys to work toward. Well done Alan!

Last weekend saw our athletes compete on both Saturday 13th for the boys and Sunday the 14th for the girls, with strong performances all round.
Conor O’Donoghue competing in U10 won his heat and ran well in the 600m final coming in 7th place.
Ryan McCarthy competing in U11 won his 600m heat and was unlucky not to medal in the final.
It was the girls turn on Sunday with five competing in U12, 60m sprint and long jump. With solid runs all five of the girls made it to the sprint semi final with 3 of them making the 60m final. Katie Farley took silver in the final of the 60m Sprint.
There were incredible jumps from the girls in the long jump with Katie O’Regan and Grace Coyle taking Gold & Silver respectively jumping 3.94m & 3.92m.
