Munster Masters & Juvenile Relay Cross Country, St Augustine’s College, Dungarvan 21st November

It was a bitterly cold but bright day for the Munster Masters & Juvenile Relay Cross Country, St Augustine’s College, Dungarvan on the 20th November.  Both teams had very strong runs on a very flat & fast course.  The  U12 girls were unlucky on the  narrowly missing out on a medal coming in 4th place.

The Masters team  of Elaine O’Donoghue, Debbie McCarthy, Geraldine Walsh & Diane Duffy continued their winning streak securing 1st Team place in the Masters 035.

Individually Elaine O’Donoghue cam 4th in O35 and Debbie McCarthy cam 6th in O45.

Munster Juvenile Uneven Age, Junior, Senior Cross Country, Limerick Racecourse 13th November

Although dry overhead the previous nights rain made for extremely heavy and muddy terrain for our 17   athletes in the Munster Uneven Age Championships in Limerick Racecourse.

U9 Boys

Great running from this steadily growing team of boys, with Cathal Walsh securing a medal in 9th place, while the team secured 7th place.

Amy Buckley had a great run to secure a medal in 11th position and a place on the Munster team for the National Finals in Abbotstown.

It was always going to a tough run for these girls with 4 of them running up an age however they secured 10th Team position

Novice B & Masters Cross Country Championships, 6th November Slievroe, Riverstick

Congratulations to our Novice Women who took 1st place at the Novice B Championships in our local training ground  Slievroe, Riverstick on the 6th November.

Leading from the front all the way Helen O’Callaghan set the pace coming home in 1st place followed by team mate Diane Duffy in 2nd. Remaining team mates Catriona Courtney and Sinead O’Regan came in 12th & 14th positions to secure 1st team place. Great running ladies!

Vincent O’Brien ran his first cross country on home ground and cam 24th in the Mens Novice B.
