With cross country season well underway now Riverstick /Kinsale athletes had another good day in Castlelyons today.

Amy Buckley was 5th in the GU-9 race and the U-13 girls won team silver.

Our Athletes had another great day in Conna with 4 of our athletes winning individual medals and the U-11 girls team winning  the bronze team medals.In the U -9 race Ryan Mc Carthy had a great run in his first ever cross county race well done Ryan.Kate  Redmond showed great sportsmanship leading her U -11 team to a 3rd place team medal and  in her own well earned 4th place individual medal ,her brother Eoin Redmond leading from start to finish in the U-13 boys race followed by Alan O’ Donovan in 6th place in the U-15 boys race.Well done to all our athletes who competed today.

A great evening of sports was had by all who participated in our very special 50th Anniversary Open Sports.A very special thanks to all our cub members and all those who participated from other athletic clubs its fair to say everyone had great  fun and enjoyed the many events Wednesday evening in the Riverstick GAA Grounds.

       KATE FARLEY &KATIE O’ REGAN  were 1st in the pairs sprints and 1st in the pairs long-jump in the All-Ireland Well done girls.The U-10 Girls  Relay team  were second in the relay in Tullamore also.
