Storm Clodagh could not deter our hardy athletes last Sunday in the Munster B XC Championships at Cappaghwhite. In challenging conditions our athletes showed true grit and determination!

In the Girls U11 Nicole Buckley secured 2nd place and thanks to great runs by her team mates, Grace Coyle, Amy Buckley and Caoimhe O’Donoghue the girls took a bronze team medal.

Fantastic Result for Riverstick/Kinsale AC !!

Huge Congratulations to Eoin and Kate Redmond on their outstanding performances at last weekends Glo Health Even Age Championship in Santry last weekend.

Eoin put in an amazing run in a very competitive pack of U14 Boys to secure 1st position – Congratulations.

Equally, Kate had a very solid run to secure 8th position and the 1st Cork athlete home in the U12.

Well done to our hardy athletes who braved very challenging conditions on Sunday Nov 8th at the Munster Uneven xCountry Championships in Killarney. Rain didn’t dampen our spirits and and solid runs were put in by all especially Conor O’Donoghue who came in 13th In U9 and 3rd from Cork securing a medal. Congratulations Conor!

Nicole Buckley has a very impressive win today in the girls U-11 race .Nicole lead from start to finish to take the gold medal.The girls also won Team gold in this race.Cathal Barry crossed the line in 4th place in the boys U-11 race.The boys also won Team gold in their race.

The Munster Juvenile Even Age Cross Country Championships took place Sunday 25th October in WIT Waterford.Ryan Mc Carthy set off strongly from the start in the boys u-10 race of 1000m and crossed the line in a field of over 100 competitors in 1st place to win the gold medal well done Ryan!Kate Redmond was next up on the podium to take 3rd place in the girls u-12 race in the 1500m race of 100 athletes also.Her brother Eoin Redmond was next up on the podium in the boys u-14  2500m race crossing the line in 2nd place to take the silver medal .Well done to all our athletes who competed in Waterford.

Sunday October 4th saw the first races of the cross country season take place in Whites Cross,Carraig na bhFear.The weather conditions were in the athletes favor on the day.We had athletes in the under-10 age group right up to under-16s. Ryan Mc Carthy ran a great race from start to finish in the boys under-10 taking 2nd place in a field of over 80 competitors Well Done Ryan! Kate Redmond was next to take another silver medal in the girls under 12 race Kate continues to show great talent in cross country running events and is definitely one to watch for the future.Eoin her brother was next to go in the boys under14 . Eoin is a seasoned cross country runner winning medals since he first started competing at under 9 and today added to his growing collection with a well deserved silver medal.Great running by all our athletes who ran today .
